Melou has put the maps away for today, happy enough with what work he did get done on them yesterday before Melehan ruined his mood. But he's not thinking about that right now. He has a date of sorts.

It's getting colder, even at Milliways, so there aren't any jean shorts today, although the t-shirt probably doesn't look so good with his usual trousers. Thankfully, he couldn't care less what his clothes look like.

Melou paces just outside the lake door, waiting for Angela. Girls always take forever.

He leans into the touch, ever so slightly, then captures that hand with one of his own, holding it in place so he can turn to press a kiss into her palm.

"Sweet girl."

A blush spreads over her nose and cheeks, and it's like her arm, from palm to elbow, has gone all warm and weak.

"Always for you," she whispers. She wants to keep him happy. It's important to her.

She's been doing a pretty good job so far.

"Good, 'cause you'll always be mine." He brushes her hair behind her ears. "Always."

She can't imagine never being able to see him again, and she nods, because right now, she thinks she'll die if they're never able to see each other again.

She closes her eyes briefly and shivers a little.

"Hey." He slips his arms around her again and pulls her tight against him. He's not exactly sure what caused the shiver, but it's instinct. "You all right?"

"Yeah," she says. "Just a little cold."

And a little scared, but she's not quite sure of what yet.

"And this is nice," she says, putting her head on his shoulder.

A hand reaches up and toys idly with the hair that hangs down her back.

"Want to go back inside?"

"Should probably head back," she says softly. "But this was...well, way more than nice."

"I aim to please." He smiles again, giving her a gentle squeeze before stepping back.

Angela laughs a little and keeps a hold of his hand as they begin their walk back.

"Are you hungry?" she asks, still feeling loose in her limbs. She runs a hand through her hair--it must be at least a little bit of a mess.

"A little." He shrugs, shouldering some branches out of their way. "Could use a drink more."

"Well, it's nearly lunch anyway. We could eat in the bar or at least take it upstairs."

It depends, really, on how sociable he is. Angela really could care less about seeing anyone else at the moment.

"Upstairs would be good." Because, yeah. He's behaving for now but he's nowhere near done yet.

"Okay." She kind of figured he wouldn't be. "We'll bring something back upstairs with us when we get to the bar."

She leans over and kisses his cheek.
