Dinner is always a noisy affair at castle Din-Gonwy. Angela found that out last night at her first one ever, when she was the centre of attention for all of five minutes until the main crowd accepted Melou's story of where she came from and who she was, and then got distracted by something else.

Tonight's meal isn't shaping up to be much different, except there's less whispering and more friendly (or indifferent) smiles given Angie's way.

They're seated not quite in the middle of the table, closer to the head. Melou passes her a glass of wine and smiles.

"Yeah, you probably will. Condsidering it's dark and I'm not precisely...steady on my feet."

She's about ready to get relaxed for the evening, though. "I think...I'm ready when you are." She grins.

Angela laughs. "Hey, at least I haven't got sick," she whispers, and kisses him.

"I'd like to go up, though. If you don't mind." She bites her lip.

She grins. "I do, don't I?"

She gets up, managing not to trip on anything, and waits for him, smoothing out the skirts of her dress.

She just needed to get somewhere that she didn't have to pretend she'd worn these sorts of dresses her entire life. And take her hair out of the braid.

The corridors are rapidly dimming, but she follows his lead, as in most things.

She goes inside when he holds the door open, and immediately goes to take the braid out of her hair. It was beginning to make her head hurt.

"Not really. Just a little uncomfortable." She takes the brush from him. "Thanks." She hikes up the skirts a little and sits on the bed, cross-legged, and takes off her shoes.

"Much better." She grins at him and begins brushing through her hair.

"Clothes. Not that they're uncomfortable so much as unfamilar. And I can't exactly sit like this in front of everyone." Not without showing a whole lot of her leg, anyway.

Her hair is a bit kinky because of the braid in it all day.

"Yeah, probably not. But it's still not very...ladylike."

She grins and nudges him. "Wouldn't want people to talk."

Even though they probably are.

She closes her eyes and smiles. "It sounds like my school, actually. When we're not in class, it's gossip, gossip, gossip. Sometimes when we're in class, too." She turns her head to kiss him softly.

The brush is still in her hand, paused halfway down a lock of hair, and her eyes are closed as they kiss. She puts her other hand against the side of his face.

She stays close to him when the kiss ends, leaning her forehead against his, still smiling.

"I just figured to get it out of the way, but yeah. Should leave it down." His hand is warm, and she places her hand over his.

"Which way do you like it?" she asks shyly.

Angela sighs and grins. "I rather like it down, too. I'm sort of used to it being hot. California is exceptionally warm most of the year round, so."

She continues brushing out the side he's not running his fingers through. She really, really likes when he does that, though.

"It snows to the North of us. Not so much in Los Angeles, though. There's desert a few miles away from us."

She grins. "Snow is pretty neat, though. The lake outside the bar was pretty."
